edge/water/line vs. ridge/ island/point

the speed of a diagonal can reach the ridge.

acceleration makes a line and its end is a point

a line is drawn from a point to arrive at a point

the first point, though the line’s genesis is

also in and of itself a condensation of a line.

the second point is an island.

this point is the true point, once a mountain

now has become an island.

this mountain- island; point’s time differs from line’s time

the difference between the two is known

through the living colors, forms, scents, senses,

and sounds slowly covering the point

at that point it is hard to realize,

but then, beside the point, it's realized.

line slanted flows quickly and stops abruptly.

when a diagonal reaches its edge and stops

suddenly a point cannot be living

but becomes a smudge. smudges are graves.

though, cannot become a true grave.

since graves are protruded ridges prayed on

to wish the next life. life blooms from ridges.

on the edges death, at the ridges life.

모서리/물/선 vs. 등성이/섬/점

사선의 속도를 그으며 툭툭 튀어나오는

얼룩들을 지나야만 등성이에 도달할 수 있다.

속도가 선을 만들고 선의 끝은 점이다.

점에서 선을 그어 점으로 도달하는 것.

첫 번째 점은 선이 자라는 곳이지만,

그 자체로 선의 응축이기도 하다.

두 번째 점은 섬이다.

이 점이 진짜 점인데 원래 산이었다가 섬이 되었다.

이 산이자 섬, 점의 시간은 선의 시간과 다르고

그 둘이 다르다는 것은 점을 천천히 뒤덮는

살아있는 것들의 색, 형, 향, 촉감, 소리로 알 수 있다.

그곳에 있으면 잘 알지 못하지만,

그곳에 없으면 잘 알 수 있다.

선은 기울어져 빠르게 흐르며 갑작스레 멈추기도 한다.

사선의 모서리에 갑작스레 멈추면

살아있는 점이 되지 못하고 얼룩이 된다.

얼룩은 무덤이다.

그렇지만 진짜 무덤이 되지는 못한다.

원래 무덤이란 봉긋한 등성이를 만들어

다음 생을 기원하는 바이기 때문이다.

생명은 등성이에서 피어나는 법.

모서리엔 죽음이, 등성이엔 생명이.
